The guest speaker that I decided to do my guest reflection on is Michelle Price. She attended Ohio University from 1985-1989 for her Bachelors of Fine arts and then went to Ohio University from 1990-1992 to get her MFA in design. She then went back to Ohio University in 2013 to get her Doctorate in Philosophy. Throughout her career she designed a lot of products, but her most famous was the curly bow. She got a patent on the product so no-one would be be able to copy her idea. Throughout her presentation she talked about product design and the importance of patents. She talked about her experience with multiple product designs and how each idea much be very original and can't be similar to any other products that are currently on the market.
